Truly Sumptuous realised that people with sensitive skins wanted to use luxury spa products available in shops but couldn’t because some of the ingredients irritated their skin.

We decided to create spa products from edible ingredients. If an ingredient is good enough to eat, it is often safe enough to use on sensitive skin. The result is a decadent and indulgent range of products which can be enjoyed by everyone.

Truly Sumptuous products are handmade from natural, mainly organic, edible ingredients. Our recipes have been lovingly developed and improved through years of experience.

Honey is an excellent preservative. It is thought to delay the aging process. It consists of fructose, sucrose, dextrose and other simple sugars, amino acids and traces of iron, copper, silica, manganese, chlorine, proteins, calcium, potassium, sodium, phosphorous, sulphur, aluminium and magnesium. The Truly Sumptuous team loves sourcing specialist monofloral honeys (honeys from one main nectar source) such as apple blossom or wild thyme to use in our products. We think they offer our customers something special and hope that you agree.

Goat’s milk is the most popular milk on earth. It is packed with vitamins and minerals, easier to digest than cow’s milk and less likely to cause a reaction to sensitive skin. We use goat’s milk in several of our spa products including delicious bath milks and fragrant bath sachets.

Pure salt is a 100% natural food providing the body with a balance of minerals and trace elements including zinc, calcium and magnesium. We pride ourselves in sourcing the best salts e.g. sparkling white coarse French sea crystals and pink Himalayan rock salt. Himalayan salt is reputed to be the purest salt crystal on earth. It is naturally pink thanks to its mineral content. We use Halen Môn salt in our food products. Halen Môn salt flakes are harvested by hand and contain absolutely no additives. It is the only UK salt to gain Soil Association Certified Product status.
